Cathryn Rittenberry,  Long Jump -  17'-9" (5.41m)  - 674 points
                                     Javelin - 93'-1" (28.38m) - 460 points
                                     800M - 2:38.02 - 596 points

Rittenberry finished in 14th place with a total of 4,568 points.

Men's Discus
Sean Reagan, 158'-6" (48.31m)  - 14th place
Keaton Hatch, 154'-5" (47.08m) - 16th place

Rittenberry is in 15th place after day one with a score of 2,852 points.

Wednesday, May 23 - Final Preparation & Banquet Day

The Angelo State track & field teams spent its final day before the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships making final preparations for the meet and attending the award banquet (photo gallery). Listen to Isidro Garcia, Jacob McDonald and Robbie Thayer talk about returning to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships and a few more first-time competitiors in Keshawna Fisher, Patrick Hunter, Jeffrey Jones, Sean Reagan, Theresa Sue and Keaton Hatch. The final video is of head coach James Reid and his thoughts before the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships get underway.

Tuesday, May 22 - Practice Day

The Angelo State track & field teams spent day two practicing at Colorado State - Pueblo (photo gallery) and were able to do some sightseeing at the Royal Gorge (photo gallery). Today's video interviews talk to the three freshmen (Lexi Brooks, Jaylen Rodgers, Dallas Gray) on their experience at their first NCAA Championships. The duo of Jayda Spencer and Kimberly Williams made the NCAA Championships in 2010 but didn't advance in 2011. What do they think about returning after missing last year? Monday, May 21- Travel Day

The first day of the trek to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in Pueblo, Colo., started with a bus ride for the Angelo State track & field student-athletes.
