ASU Adds 19 for Fall of 2014

SAN ANGELO – Angelo State head football coach Will Wagner announced the signing of 19 student-athletes for the fall of 2014.
 
"The 2014 class exceeded our expectations," Wagner said. "We were able to hit on every need this season with speed and athleticism being a major emphasis.  I'm excited about the potential of these recruits and I look forward to coaching them into championship players."
 
The offense added nine players to add to a talented group. Three offensive linemen were signed to recoup the loss of three senior starters. Two wide receivers, two tight ends, two quarterbacks and a running back also inked a national letter of intent.
 
The defense signed 10 players for 2014. The defensive backfield added five with four coming up front for the defensive line and one linebacker.
 
The class has one transfer and 18 high school signees.

DEVLIN ISADORE
QB 6-3, 200, Aldine Eisenhower | Houston, Texas
Will Wagner's thoughts:
"Devlin is an athletic QB that brings in tremendous leadership skills.  He is a student of the game both on and off the field.  We are excited to see where his potential will take him over the next several years as a Ram."

JORDAN MOLDEN

AUSTIN SMITH

DONOVAN THOMPSON
WR, 6-0, 185 Westfield High | Houston, Texas

"Donovan is one of the most elusive WR's we've seen on film this year.  He has great speed and soft hands. Donovan should be able to make an immediate impact to the wide receiver corps."

"Kelton is a very athletic quarterback that has the ability to see action early at several positions. His leadership and talent will continue to help us have great depth at the QB position for the next several years."

"Travier is an exciting wide receiver with big play ability. His speed and elusiveness will give us the chance to stretch the field on the edge and the potential to make big plays on every down ."
