Angelo State University Athletics

Danaher played two seasons at Angelo State before beginning his illustrious coaching career. As a player, he recorded one of ASU's highest single-game rushing performances, totaling 173 rushing yards against Northwood in the 1968 season. With over 40 years of coaching under his belt, Danaher become the winningest high school coach in Texas history in 2016 after notching his 427^th win in a 31-7 victory over Corpus Christi.
