Cason is one of three former Rams to be inducted into the Collegiate Football Hall of Fame. He was also the first ASU football player to become a three-time NAIA All-American and is one of only three Ram players to accomplish that feat. An offensive tackle for his entire career, Cason was a three-time all-Lone Star Conference First Team selection as well as a two-time Associated Press Second Team All-American. Cason was an 11th-round draft pick by the New England Patriots.
