For the second time in three days, St. Edward's defeated Abilene Christian, this time 2-1 in game 12 of the 2008 NCAA DII South Central Regional Tournament at ASU Softball Complex in San Angelo.

Robin Becker (26-7) gave up just two hits in five innings as she picked up the victory for the Hilltoppers while Diana Cezeaux picked up her second ave of the season with a hitless two innings of relief. Courtney Lavender and Stacy Giles each recorded a double in the second inning to park St. Edward's (48-15) to a match-up with top-seeded Angelo State at 1 p.m. Saturday for a berth into the tournament's title game.

For ACU, Kim McDonald was handed the loss as the Wildcats ended the season 34-27.
