SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State men's basketball team opens its home conference schedule with No. 18 West Texas A&M tomorrow night at Stephens Arena in the Junell Center at 7:30 p.m.
The Rams are 2-3 and 0-1 in conference play after falling to Eastern New Mexico on Wednesday night. West Texas A&M comes into the game at 6-1 and 0-1 in conference play after losing to Abilene Christian.
ASU has three players averaging double figures in
Chris Talkington (16.8),
Jovan Austin (12.8) and
Antonio Dye (12.4). The Rams are the LSC's leader in free throw percentage (.708) and turnover margin (+5.60).
West Texas A&M took both games last season and hold a 37-20 series advantage.
