SAN ANGELO -- The No. 23-ranked Angelo State basketball team returns to action at 6 p.m. tonight against Western New Mexico in Silver City, New Mexico. The Rams (6-1) will complete a three-game road trip where they split last weekend at the Colorado Mesa Thanksgiving Classic with a 70-67 loss to Colorado Mesa and an 89-73 win over Western State Colorado. The Mustangs (0-3) did not play last weekend and will be coming off a 94-87 loss to Eastern New Mexico last Saturday at The Pit in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The game will be the Mustangs first home game of the season and the third road game of the year for the Rams.
Angelo State will return home to face Texas-Permian Basin at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Junell Center.
