SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State University men's basketball team tipped-off in its first exhibition game on Monday night against the No. 13 University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. The Rams defeated the Drovers, 81-66.

- The Drovers came to the Junell Center after defeating fellow Lone Star opponent Cameron on Saturday, November 2, 92-85.
- The Drovers are members of the NAIA and made a run at the national championship last season but fell in overtime to No. 4 ranked William Carey in the national quarterfinals.
- The Rams had four players finish in double digits with newcomer Jeremy Hayes as the leading scorer with 23 points. Hayes went 2-for-5 from the beyond the arc, 8-for-11 from the field and 5-for-5 from the line.
- Burone Edwards registered a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Andres Ibarguen and Paul Williams round out the double digit scorers with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
- The Rams outscored the Drovers in the second half, 40-29.
- From the field, the Blue and Gold shot 42.6 percent and 16.7 percent from beyond the arc.
