HOUSTON, Texas – The Angelo State University men's basketball team traveled to Houston, Texas for its second exhibition game against the University of Houston Saturday night and fell 106-42.

- The Cougars went on a 6-0 run to start the game but Burone Edwards ended the run on a field goal outside the paint to trail 6-2.
- The Rams struggled to find momentum as they trailed 61-25 at halftime.
- In the second half, the Cougars went on a 17-0 run before Paul Williams knocked down a three-pointer to trail 78-28.
- The Rams scored 25 points in the first and 17 in the second half.
- Paul Williams and Collin Turner lead the Rams in scoring with 14 points and 13 points, respectively.
- Turner led the defense with seven rebounds while Williams had four.
- Â The Rams shot 25 percent from the field, 20 percent from beyond the arc and 79 percent from the line.
