Series History:
The Rams and Chaparrals met twice over the regular season with the Blue and Gold claiming two victories. The first matchup between the two teams was back on November 23 in San Angelo. ASU came out with the 73-63 victory. The Rams had three players score in double figures while the Chaps had two players in double figures. The two teams met again on January 11 in Lubbock with the Rams walking away with a 73-71 nail-biter victory. Angelo State once again had three players in double digits. LCU ended the night with three players in double figures as well. The Blue and Gold are on a three-game win streak over LCU and lead 5-2 in the series since 2012.

Scouting Lubbock Christian:
The Chaparrals enter the LSC tournament with a 19-9 record overall and 15-7 record in conference action. Lubbock Christian ousted Midwestern State to earn their bid to the tournament on Tuesday night, defeating the Mustangs 79-61. Lloyd Daniels leads the LCU offense with a 16.1 points per game average. He is shooting 55.7 percent from the field. On Tuesday night, he finished with 18 points leading all scorers. Parker Hicks leads the Chaparral defense with 187 rebounds and a 6.7 per game average. He registered a double double on Tuesday grabbing 10 boards and contributed 15 points to the offense.

Scouting Angelo State
The Rams enter the tournament with a 19-7 record overall and a 15-7 in conference play. Angelo State clinched a first round bye to the LSC tournament after defeating the University of Texas Permian Basin in the final game of the regular season, 92-67.
Paul Williams led the team and all scorers with 26 points on the night.

Turner leads the Rams offense with 16.8 points per game. He ranks seventh in the conference for field goal percentage with a 43.5 percent. He tied the program record for points in a single game with 44 on February 20, 2020, carrying the team to victory over Texas A&M Kingsville.
Andres Ibarguen leads the team on defense with 10.0 rebounds per game average. He leads the nation and the conference in offensive rebounds with 5.23 per game. The 6-5 forward has registered 12 double doubles in his career and season to sit third all-time in the ASU record book.
