Edmond, Okla. – The Belles soccer team earned a point on the road against Oklahoma Christian this afternoon, the match resulting in a scoreless draw with the Belles unable to find the back of the net despite having 19 shots, 13 of which found the target.
Cindy Rodriguez had six shots, five of which were on target, most in the game. The Eagles, as a team, recorded seven shots, forcing one save from Belles goalkeeper
Kira Miller.
Avery McNeme and
Gabby Villagrand also had multiple looks on target, with three and two shots on goal, respectively.
This is the Belles' first regular season draw in over two years, last doing so on September 28
th, 2019, against Texas A&M International.
The Belles are now 7-1-1 on the season and 2-1-1 in conference play. They are back in action on Wednesday against UT Permian Basin at the ASU Soccer Field.
