The 20
th-ranked Angelo State football team returns to action this weekend as the Rams travel for a key Lone Star Conference matchup against Texas A&M – Kingsville on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Pepsi Field at Javelina Stadium.
LAST TIME OUT: The Rams had last weekend off with the bye week. Prior to that, ASU earned a road victory over Eastern New Mexico, winning 23-14. The Rams tallied 207 yards on the ground while holding the Greyhounds to 262 yards of offense.

Last Meeting: Oct. 22, 2022: 34-7, ASU
While the Javelinas lead the all-time series against ASU, the Rams have dominated in recent history, winning the last nine consecutive meetings. The Rams earned a win on Homecoming last season over TAMUK, holding the Javelinas to one score in a 34-7 victory.

- The Javelinas enter the weekend with a 4-1 overall record, going 2-1 in LSC action.
- TAMUK earned a win last week, defeating West Texas A&M 28-21. The Javelinas' only conference loss was against UT Permian Basin, 29-17.
