From Travis McCorkle: Q: Coach after a scoreless first half how was your attack able to find its groove and lead to two goals in the second half? "It had everything to do with our central midfield just playing quicker in the first half we were taking three, four, five, six touches and they were just collapsing on us. St. Mary's is so good at pressuring especially us going from offense to defense they were so good at it, so we just told the girls you have to play it with one or two touches. When we turned up the speed I felt like St. Mary's lost the pressure and started breaking them down creating chances. In the first half, I don't think we played great, but I think we had one of the best chances in the half.
Q: With your team extending its unbeaten streak to nine contests with the win what do you look forward to Eastern New Mexico to keep that streak going? "We moved the game to Sunday at noon mountain time, so one our time due to weather. Eastern has had some struggles so far this year, but they are going to be playing at home they need wins and want wins. We have to counter that hunger that they have to get a win. It's going to be tough the conditions are bad and it's on turf. We need to be focused and ready to give our best effort.
