San Angelo, Texas - The Angelo State women's soccer team's season came to an end Monday evening in the quarterfinal round of the Lone Star Conference tournament, losing 2-0 to UT Tyler inside the LeGrand Soccer Complex.
The Rambelles end the season with a 9-5-5 overall record.

Sanai Stewart would record the first shot saved by the UT Tyler keeper Robbi Curry.
UT Tyler's Katie Wong would record the first goal of the contest for the Patriots in the 25th minute when Wong would get loose on the left flank and send the ball across the face of net, where it would end up going in.
The Rambelles went into halftime down 1-0, recording four shots in the half.
Early in the second half the Patriots would find the back of the net when
Melyna Martinez would save the first shot, but it would end up bouncing out of grasp where the right foot of Natalie Jones would be waiting to send the ball into the back of the net to score the game winning goal for UT Tyler to advance them to the Semifinals of the Lone Star Conference Tournament where they will take on DBU on Thursday.
