Conroe, Texas – The Angelo State softball team picked up a pair of wins over RMAC competition on Saturday at the DII First Pitch Invitational in Conroe, defeating No. 21 Colorado Mesa 6-1 before claiming a 6-0 win over Colorado School of Mines to close out their day.

Tatiana Trotter sacrifice bunt to open the scoring.
The next batter,

A Mavericks home run in the third inning pulled back a run, and the score remained 3-1 until the sixth inning.
With two runners in scoring position,

Trotter's one-out single in the third preceded an Applin two-run home run to make it 4-0.
In the sixth inning,
Blake Holtorf recorded her first hit as a Rambelle, a double with the bases loaded that just missed out on being a grand slam, which drove in two runs to make it 6-0.

Bri Waters allowed one hit and struck out three in two innings in the circle, and
