SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State baseball program adds a couple more accolades for the 2025 campaign as
Tayten Tredaway and
Blake Wilhoite have been named to the South Central Region All-Defensive team by the American Baseball Coaches Association
Tredaway, an MBA student from Newark, Texas, secured 375 putouts while only giving up one error for a .997 fielding percentage and being a part of 35 double plays. At the plate, the senior swung for a .325 average, collecting 68 hits, 18 doubles and seven home runs while knocking in 68 RBI and scoring 52 runs himself.
Wilhoite, a business management major from Midlothian, Texas, was named a Gold Glove winner by the ABCA and Rawlings. The junior allowed only one error on the season in 391 putouts while also throwing out 14 of 32 runners who tried to steal a base. Offensively, he also hit for a .297 average with 32 RBI and 39 runs scored.
