CLEVELAND - The Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2ADA) announced the recipients of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award this morning, which recognizes the academic accomplishments of Division II student-athletes.

Angelo State saw 84 of its student-athletes earn recognition, as the ADA honored 22,756 student-athletes across 202 Division II schools, the highest total in the award's 18-year history.

To qualify for the award, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, have completed a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college work, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during the previous academic year.

The Rambelles track and field program paced all ASU programs with 15 selections, followed by Rams Baseball's 14 and Belles Volleyball's 11.
