BROOMFIELD, Colo. – The Angelo State women's golf team concluded its first tournament of the 2025-26 season, finishing fifth overall as a team while
Mia Clarke claimed the individual title at the Swan Memorial Invitational in Colorado.
Clarke finished even through two rounds of the tournament, posting a total score of 144 after shooting 74 in round one and 70 in round two. She ties the fourth-best two-round score in program history as the Belles have now claimed the individual winner at this tournament two years in a row.
The Belles finished fifth overall in the tournament with a total score of 618 (311, 307).
Christine Huse finished second for ASU, claiming 17
th overall in the tournament with a score of 152 (78, 74).
Competing as an individual,
Caitlin Vanderkruk tied for 27
th overall in the tournament, shooting 76 and 79 for a total score of 155.
The Belles are back in action at the end of the month as they compete at the WT Fall Invitational, Sept. 29-30.
