Odessa, Texas – The Angelo State men's basketball team snapped its three-game skid with a 91-80 win over UT Permian Basin on Thursday evening inside the Falcon Dome.
The Rams scored 50 points in the first half, making 20 of their 30 field goal attempts and shooting 7-for-13 from three. They finished the game shooting 58.3 percent from the field and made a season-high 15 three-pointers.
Quadir Pettaway scored 22 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field, all of which came from behind the arc.
Davon Scott scored 18 points, while
Jhordan Ryan recorded a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Ryan blocked four shots as the Rams out-rebounded the Falcons 34-30.
Zyon Little scored ten points, making all four of his field goals, and assisted five times.
Jabbari Barry scored nine points off the bench, and
Jordan Crawford scored seven points and assisted six times.
The Rams are 13-10 on the season and 4-8 in conference play. They return to action next weekend to host Western New Mexico next Thursday.
