LEVELLAND, Texas – The Angelo State University cross country teams will have to wait two more weeks before returning to competition after Friday's SPC Invitational, hosted by South Plains College, was canceled due to unfavorable course conditions caused by inclement weather in the area.

The event is not expected to be rescheduled.

The Rams and Rambelles will return to action Friday, Oct. 16, when they travel to Hobbs, New Mexico, to compete in the Thunderbird Open, hosted by New Mexico Junior College.
