2011: Won the LSC Outdoor Championships in the pole vault and all-conference honors... Qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships ... Cleared a career-best mark of 12-4.50 (3.77m) at the Cactus Cup ... Won three meets on the season ... Qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships.
Prior to ASU: Competed at South Plains College for two seasons and vaulted a collegiate-best 12-2 (3.71m) to win the 2009 NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship (3/4)...Won the pole vault at the 2009 NJCAA Outdoor National Championships as a freshman after clearing 11-8.5 (3.57m)...Posted a season-best vault of 12-1.5 (3.70m) as a sophomore at the Texas Tech Invite (4/10)...Competed at the 2010 NJCAA Outdoor National Championship but didn’t clear a height...Helped South Plains win three total NJCAA National Championshps - one indoor and two outdoors.
High School: Won the Texas Class 1A Pole Vault Championship during her senior year at Rocksprings...Finished second in state as a junior...Was a regional qualifier in the pole vault her freshman season...A four-time regional qualifier in the 300-meter hurdles, narrowly missing the state meet her senior year after finishing third at regionals...Also a four-time regional qualifier as a member of the 4x400-meter relay and a three-time regional qualifier as a member of the 4x200-meter relay...Also qualified to regionals in the 100 meter hurdles in freshman season...Played basketball and was on the powerlifting team.
