Biography
2013: Ran the sprints for the Rams. Qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in the 4X400 relay. Ran the 200 meters and the 100 meters at the 2013 LSC Outdoor Championships placing sixth overall with a wind-aided time of 21.21 and eighth overall with a wind-aided time of 10.68. Ran a career-best in the 100 and 200 meters with times of 10.65 (w) and 21.60. Named to the 2013 All-Conference Team.
2012: National qualifier in the 4x400-meter relay ... Member of the 4x400-meter relay that won the LSC Championship ... Also ran on the 4x100-meter relay and the 400m ... Season best time of 49.66 in the 400m.
2011: Earned All-American status as a member of the 4x400m relay that placed fifth at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships ... Ran on the 4x400m relay that place second with a 3:12.22 ... Member of the 4x400m relay that won the David Noble/Angelo State Relays with a 3:10.81.
Prior to ASU: Attended the University of North Texas and Collin County Community College but did not participate in athletics.
High School: Competed in the 200- and 400-meter dash and as a member of the 4x100- and 4x200-meter relay teams…High school teammate of current Ram Donald Macarthy.
Personal: Son of Rob and Jean Thayer...Major is exercise science.
