High School: Regional Qualifier in cross country and won the All-Army Student Athlete award 2012-13. Also at John Paul Stevens, Torres was on the second All-Academic team for cross country.

Personal: Son of Jaime and Lucinda Collazo... Father ran for Southwest Texas University 1986-89.
