Angelo State University Athletics

A Dallas native, Richard earned his bachelor's degree at Angelo State in Security Studies and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Homeland Security. He works with the defensive backs and special teams for the Rams. Once he completes his post graduate program, he plans to pursue a collegiate coaching career.

Franklin played for the Angelo State Rams from 2013 through 2016 as a defensive back. He received all conference honors twice during his time as a Ram. He also received the Hollands Award for his outstanding play and teamwork throughout his career at ASU.
