Sophomore:  Mims played two seasons for Coach Andy Shaw ... As a sophomore, Mims played in 29 games while starting in 18 ... averaged 19.1 points on 48.4% from the field including 36.7% from the three point line and 77.2% from the free throw line while also adding 4.6 rebounds per game … dropped at least 25 points eight times … scored in double figures in 25 games … dropped 31 points in his final game at Butler Community College (3/2/2017) … hauled down a career high of 12 rebounds against 2017 NJCAA National Champion Hutchinson Community College (2/22/2017) ... Following his sophomore season, Mims was honored as a member of the 2017 NJCAA All-Region Team and also as a member of the KJCCC All Conference Team.
 
Freshman : As a freshman, Mims appeared in 31 games and started in 12 of them  … Mims averaged 11.9 points per game on 54.6% from the field including 34.1% from the three point line and 65.1% from the free throw line while grabbing 4.5 rebounds per game … posted a season high of 26 points against Dodge City Community College while connecting on 10-16 (62.5%) from the field.
 
High School:
Mims attended Edmond Santa Fe High School … played for Coach Lenny Hatchet … started every game for three years … led his team to the state championship game his senior season … named First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference.
 
Personal:
Played AAU for the Dallas Mustangs … Parents are Velma and Ron Mims … Plans to study Business Education.
