2012: Led the Rams with 37 yards rushing on 14 carries in an upset win over No. 19 ACU ... Caught three passes for 15 yards ...  Rushed eight time for 17 yards versus No. 18 Valdosta State ... Carried the ball nine times for 11 yards against Western State and took a screen pass for 46 yards.

2011: Redshirt season.

Prior to ASU: Spent three seasons at New Mexico State University...Played in eight games for the Aggies in 2010 on special teams and at running back....Grabbed two passes for 18 yards and a rushed for one yard on the ground against Louisiana Tech (11/13)...As a sophomore, logged three tackles on special teams, including two tackles and a forced fumble in a 20-17 win over Utah State (10/10)...Played in 12 games for as a freshman with 20 carries for 42 yards and one catch for nine yards on the year.

High School: Earned four letters in football and was a versatile athlete for Mansfield High School, playing both quarterback and running back...As a senior in only five games of action, Roberts ran for 535 yards on 63 carries and scored four touchdowns...Earned the Region I Texas High School Athlete of the Week during the second week of the season...Led the Tigers to their best record in school history, 8-3 (5-2), along with making the playoffs for the first time since 2000 and only the seventh time since 1962...The Tiger offense finished second overall in the area (Fort Worth Star Telegram), averaging 38.3 points and 420.7 yards per game...Also a sprinter on the track and field team, he recorded a time of 10.58 in the 100-meter dash during the finals at the regional track meet.
