Played in all 14 games... 94 tackles, 45 solo, 9.5 tackles for loss... three sacks, one interception (returned for a TD),  one pass breakup, one forced fumble, seven QB hits... Named to the All-LSC and All-Super Region Four First Team Defense, named the LSC Defensive Player of the year.

2nd Team All-Conference with 101 Total Tackles, 12 TFLS, 4.5 Sacks, 1 pass breakup, and 1 interception

2018
Honorable Mention with 120 Total Tackles, 5 TFLs, 0.5 Sacks, 2 pass breakups, and 4 interceptions. 

2017
Recorded 66 tackles, one sack and one pick-six interception during his redshirt freshman season… Had a career-high 13 tackles against Eastern New Mexico and followed it with 11 tackles the next week against Texas A&M-Kingsville… Finished the season with a 12-tackle performance against Washburn in the team’s bowl game… Recorded one sack against West Texas A&M where he also had seven tackles… Had his first interception of his career against UT Permian Basin where he returned it 22 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.
