2^nd Team All-Conference with 85 Total Tackles, 2.5 TFLS, 1 pass breakup, and 2 interceptions

2017
Was fourth on the team with 63 total tackles as a redshirt freshman for the Rams… Earned All-Lone Star Conference honorable mention selection... Finished his first season as an ASU defensive back with two interceptions and seven pass breakups… French had a season-high nine tackles in three games coming in performances against Texas A&M-Kingsville, UT Permian Basin and Washburn in the team’s bowl game… Recorded his first career interception against Western New Mexico and then the next week picked off a pass and returned it 31 yards… Also had one fumble recovery during the season-opener against McKendree.
