Biography

2009: Started nine of 11 games at cornerback as a junior. received an All-LSC honorable mention nod. led the Rams with four interceptions and finished the season with 29 tackles, four pass breakups and one forced fumble. had a season-high five tackles versus Abilene Christian on Oct. 10 and versus Tarleton State on Oct. 31.

2008: Played in all 11 games at cornerback as a sophomore. had 21 tackles, including 14 solo stops, with four pass break-ups. recorded season-high four stops on two occasions. had a forced fumble against Southeastern Oklahoma on Oct. 18.

2007: Played in eight games with two starts at cornerback as a true freshman. had 33 tackles, including 21 solo stops. recorded one sack, one forced fumble, one interception and one pass break-up. registered career-high eight tackles against Tarleton State on Nov. 3.

High School: Two-year starter at cornerback at Dallas Carter High School.

Personal: Born Oct. 15, 1988. son of Felicia Jones. major is criminal justice with a minor in kinesiology.
