2010: Played in nine games at running back as a junior...Finished the season second on the team in rushing with 183 yards on 42 carries and a touchdown...Also had 10 reception for 63 yards...Ran for a season-high 68 yards on nine carries versus Texas A&M-Commerce (9/11) at the Cotton Bowl...Ran for a touchdown against Incarnate Word (10/23).

Prior to ASU: Competed at Foothill Junior College over two seasons...Saw action in 19 games....Rushed for 818 yards on 175 carries and scored five touchdowns.

High School: Competed at Oak Grove High School...Had back-to-back 2,000-yard seasons in 2006-07...Finished his career with 4,497 yards and 62 touchdowns...Was named First-Team All-Mercury News in 2007 and was named the CCS Offensive Player of the Year in 2006 and 2007...Was also the 2007 Most Valuable Player.

Personal: Born August 22, 1990...Son of Eric and Cheryl Gardiner...Older brother Kevin Gardiner played baseball at South Carolina in 2003.
