Before ASU 
Played for three seasons at Division II school Emporia State...helped lead the Hornets to average over 20 wins a season as well as a win in the NCAA Tournament in 2023 over Northern State...led Division II in steals as a freshman at Southwest Minnesota State, averaging 3.1 steals per game in 2020-21...averaged 6.6 points and 3.3 rebounds per game last season for the Hornets...shot 35 percent from three and had a 2:1 assist-to-turnover ratio...second among all active Division II players with 187 steals...4x All-Conference selection at Oak Park HS, where he holds the school record for three-pointers made in a career.

Son of Steve and Stacey Evans...has three siblings, Kyan, Steph, and Kelsey...comes from a family of collegiate athletes: dad Steve and mom Stacey played men's basketball and softball at Briar Cliff, an NAIA school in Iowa...sister Kelsey plays women's basketball from Briar Cliff while Steph played volleyball for Nebraska-Omaha, and younger brother Kyan plays men's basketball at Colorado State...Pursuing an MBA in Marketing, Digital Analytics at Angelo State.
