Biography
2013: Competed in the throwing events for the Rambelles. Francis finished in third in the discus, sixth in the hammer throw and sixth in the shot put at the 2013 LSC Outdoor Track and field Championships. Threw a couple of career-bests in the discus (150’02”) (45.77 meters) and the hammer (140’8”) (42.88 meters).
2012: Threw the shot put, discus, javelin and hammer throw at the LSC Outodor Championships ... Placed in the discus and shot put to help the Rambelles to their fourth-straight LSC crown ... Recorded season-bests marks in the shot put (12.72m), discus (44.30), hammer (33.37m) and the javelin (33.55m).
High School: State qualifer for Belton in the discus in 2011 ... Won the district shot put championships ... qualifed for regionals in the discus and the 4x200m .... Played basketball her junior year ...
Personal: Daughter of John and Karen Francis ... majoring in kinesiology.
