2011: Recorded top eight finishes in both the shot put and hammer  at the LSC Championships... placed third in the hammer throw with a season-best mark of 179’-0” (54.57m) ... season best of 51’-6.5” (15.71m) in the shot put ... threw a season best of 146’-7” (44.69m) ... won the hammer at the David Noble/ASU Relays ... won the shot put and hammer at both the Cactus Cup and Tarleton Invite.

2010: Threw the hammer, discus and shot put...Posted a personal- and season-best throw of 163-2 (49.73m) in the hammer at the Lone Star Conference Championship to place third (5/9)...Won the hammer event at the David Noble Relays (4/10) with a toss of 156-1 (47.57m)...Threw a season-best 141-7 (43.15m) in the discus at the LSC Championship (5/9)...Hit his best shot put mark at the Michael Johnson Classic (4/17) where he finished sixth with a 50-11.5 (15.53m)...Also a member of the football team, the defensive lineman has 14 tackles, three sacks and a pass breakup in two seasons.

2009: Threw the hammer, discus and shot put as a freshman…Set a season best in the shot put at the Border Olympics with a throw of 52-8.25…Had a season-best throw of 133-6 in the discus, also at the Border Olympics.

High School: Two-sport standout at Fredericksburg High School…Named FHS Male Athlete of the Year as a senior…Led Battlin’ Billies to district and regional track titles as a senior and a runner-up finish at the state meet…Sparked FHS to district title as a junior…Was also starting running back for FHS football team, earning all-district honors twice.

Personal: Born July 5, 1990…Son of Myron and Kandice Jost…Major is animal science.
