2022
Played in 49 games, making 25 starts...hit .208 with two doubles and four home runs...drove in 15 runs and scored 21....766 OPS...7-7 on stolen base attempts...recorded three multi-hit games...recorded first multi-home run game against Midwestern State (4/1)

2021
Finished the season with a .178 batting average, scoring 10 runs on the season... Registered eight hits, five doubles, one home run, and drove in six RBIs... Named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll for the spring.

2020
Played in 22 games with 22 starts and a .267 batting average... had 2 doubles and 4 HR's... scored 16 runs with 12 RBI. Season was cut short due to COVID-19.

2019 
Played in 35 games with 19 starts and a .265 batting average…had 6 doubles and 3 HR’s…scored 13 runs with 14 RBI’s.

High School – A 2018 graduate of Union High School in Brush Prairie, Washington.  Lettered, and named First Team All-League all four years in softball.  Named First Team All-Region her senior year.  MaxPreps player of the week three times.  Earned Second Team All-State honors in 2018.

Personal – Maleya is the daughter of David and Marla Burns.  She has two brothers, David and Aaron Burns.  Aaron plays football at Tabor College.  Maleya is majoring in Criminal Justice.
