I feel at home at Angelo State because:
I have so many amazing friends that are always looking out for my best interest, and it helps that I have a first cousin that also goes to school here.
Which actress would play you in a movie and why?
Phoebe Buffay from the TV show Friends, her real name is Lisa Kudrow. I think she would be able to play me well because she is can be a little silly but at the same time is caring and smart.
After graduating from ASU, I want to:
Go and get my Physical Therapy Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant degree, or possibly nursing school.
Best all-time memory on the volleyball court:
I had a coach in high school that shouted “I’m going to cut your head off if you miss this serve!!” during a match where the entire crowd could hear her, and sure enough I missed my serve and she made me serve 100 balls over the net at our next practice and for everyone I missed my teammates had to run for it while I watched them. This might not sound like a best moment for some people but it really taught me a lesson and I will never forget it.
Funniest teammate and why:
Katie Coleman, she is very smart and witty and she cracks jokes but somehow can keep a straight face and make it even funnier. Not to mention she is always quoting Friends and I absolutely love that show!
Least favorite nickname of all-time that you’ve had:
Legs, in high school I was real skinny, tall and had long legs so my coach called me legs.
I wouldn’t want to take an kill shot from:
Maddie Huth, she is very scary and intimidating.
What is your favorite part of being a Belle volleyball player?
Just being able to represent our program and help build it up, and having the opportunity to be a role model for the kids who come to our camps and clinics.
Our team will be successful if we…
Believe in our ability to play well. We have all of the pieces for success we just have to make sure that we work together as a team and don’t leave anyone behind, It is a full team effort and the only way we will succeed is if we are all on the same page and working towards the same goals.
