2011: Recorded 43 kills in 19 matches played for the Belles who advanced to the NCAA Division II tournament for the first time in 19 seasons... Had eight assists, eight digs and 12 blocks in her junior season... Named to the ASU Athletic Honor Roll.

2010: Played in 23 matches with 12 starts for the Belles as a sophomore…Finished the season with 96 kills, 21 total blocks, 14 digs, 14 assists and seven service aces…Tied her career-high with 12 kills at Florida Southern on Sept. 2 and again at St. Mary’s on Oct. 29…Collected a career-best four assists versus No. 12 Truman State on Oct. 1…Named to the Angelo State Athletic Honor Roll...Named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2009: Appeared in 32 matches with 20 starts as a freshman…Finished the season fourth on the team with 200 kills and third with 56 block assists and 60 total blocks…Registered a season-high 15 kills vs. Southwest Baptist on Oct. 3…Had a season-high nine total blocks and hit a season-high .600 (10k, 1e, 15a) vs. Midwestern State on Oct. 24…Named LSC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 27…Named to the All-Conference team in LSC Tournament last fall.

High School: Lettered first three years at San Antonio Christian High School and final year at Johnson High School…Selected academic all-district as a senior and academic all-state and all-district as a junior… Earned TAPPS All-State honors as a sophomore and junior at San Antonio Christian High School…Team captain and team MVP her senior year…Named first team all-district as a sophomore, junior and senior…Played club ball for Home Court, Mavericks, Bexar County Juniors and San Antonio Heat.

Major: Exercise science (pre-physical therapy)

I feel at home at Angelo State because: It's where I met some of the greatest friends of my life and where I have grown as a person. Plus, I’ve been here for over 3 years… so it also feels like home because I’ve been here for what seems like forever.   Which actress would play you in a movie and why? Julia Roberts – ever since I was a little kid, people have told me that we kinda look alike! And she’s a great actress and gorgeous so, duh, that’s me!   After graduating from ASU, I want to: Attend to Physical Therapy school to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy (and then I want to own my own practice!)     Best all-time memory on the volleyball court: I love looking over to where Qi is during practice or water breaks. He’s always doing some obscure stretching exercises or crunches or something silly, and he never notices that people are watching him!   Funniest teammate and why: Chelsea – she’s such a goofball and mixes up her words and phrases a lot which is always funny! Plus she cries when she laughs really hard and that’s always entertaining to try to make happen.   Least favorite nickname of all-time that you’ve had: Sometimes people called me Marge or Margie… because my middle name is Margaret. Sounds like the name of a crazy old lady that owns like five million cats. Not a fan of it!   I wouldn’t want to take a kill shot from: Shelbi Goode or Arielle Bond…  they both have heavy arm swings and are super tall too!   What is your favorite part of being a Belle volleyball player? The awesome group of friends that I got to grow up with. The girls we play with become a family over the years.
