Selena Alvarez solidified herself as an offensive threat for the Rambelle attack as a sophomore, finishing her second season at Angelo State with five goals… Alvarez scored her goals against Ouachita Baptist, St. Mary’s, Oklahoma Christian, Texas A&M-Commerce and Midwestern State… Her final goal came against MSU which helped clinch the top seed for the Rambelles at the Lone Star Conference Championships… She scored her five goals on only 17 shots in the season to finish with a .294 shot-percentage… Alvarez enters her junior season with six career goals on 22 shots.
