Prior to ASU: Competed in the javelin and hammer throw for Spokane Community College...Claimed a NWAACC Track and Field Championship (5/24) with a toss of 154-11.5 (47.23m) in the hammer throw as a sophomore...Won the Sasquatch Carnival (5/11) javelin compeition with a throw of 137-7.5 (41.95m).
High School: A four-sport athlete at Almira-Coulee/Hartline High Schools...Named track captain her senior year and Athletic Girl of the Year in 2007...Also played volleyball, softball and basketball.
