Chad Miller enters his third year as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications and his eighth year with the Angelo State University Department of Athletic Communications at the start of the 2026-27 academic year.
A native of Austin, Texas, Miller joined the Angelo State staff as a student worker in September 2019. He transitioned to a full-time position in August 2024 following the completion of his bachelor’s degree in communications from Angelo State.
Miller’s primary responsibilities include media relations and publicity efforts for Rams Football, Belles Volleyball, Rambelles Basketball and Rams Baseball. He also assists with game-day operations across all Angelo State athletic programs.
During his time as a student assistant, Miller gained experience in all aspects of game-day operations while also assisting with media relations efforts.
During Miller’s tenure at Angelo State, the university has hosted NCAA regional competition in football, volleyball, women’s soccer and baseball, in addition to hosting numerous Lone Star Conference Championship events.
Miller is a member of College Sports Communicators and serves as a voting member of the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) South Central Region committee for baseball and softball.
