Dennis Osagiede joins the Rams in March of 2026 after spending one season with Colorado State-Pueblo, serving as the program's defensive tackles coach.
He began his first two seasons coaching high school football for Belton High School. In 2023, he served as a defensive line assistant coach and the running backs coach for the 2024 season.
Prior to coaching, Osagiede had a lengthy career playing division one and professional football.
After graduating from Ridge Point High in Houston, Texas, Osagiede went on to UMass Amherst. He then transferred to Stephen F. Austin State University and gained a Sports Business degree in 2022. Finally, he transferred to Liberty University for his grad year and gained a Sports Management Certificate.
Throughout his college career, Osagiedge accumulated 99 career tackles, eight sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
In 2018, he played in 10 games as a reserve on the defensive line and recorded 15 tackles and then in 2019, he played in 10 games and made nine starts and ended the season with 30 total tackles, 2.0 tackles for a loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a quarterback hurry at UMass. He then transferred to SFA and played in 22 games in 2020 and 2021 and recorded 69 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks and had one fumble recovery with the Lumberjacks, before playing in 12 games in 2022 with Liberty. In his one season with the Flames, he recorded 37 total tackles (25 solo stops), 12.5 tackles for a loss, 6.0 sacks and one quarterback hurry.
After college, Osagiede played two years of Arena Football. He played for the Iowa Barnstormers in 2023, and the West Texas Desert Hawks and Green Bay Blizzard in 2024.
