Maddie Huth recorded a season-high six kills and hit a sizzling .750 to help the Rambelles sweep conference foe Southwestern Oklahoma, 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-4) Thursday night at Stephens Arena. Huth led the 'Belles (8-10, 4-1 LSC) offensively with six kills on eight attempts without committing an error. She also tallied one dig, one assist and a service ace. Junior
Debbie Ohl hit a season-high .714, knocking down six kills on seven attempts, while contributing a pair of digs and a solo block. Freshman
Kaelen Valdez was consistent for ASU once again as she notched six kills, nine digs and a block assist. Sophomore setter

Angelo State began the contest on a 7-0 run, its best start this season. The 'Belles never trailed as they commanded the lead throughout the first set, slamming 17 total kills and hitting .448 as a team. The Rambelle defense was on fire as it held Southwestern Oklahoma State (7-14, 0-5 LSC) to a mere .077 hitting percent in the first set. The 'Belles claimed game one by a score of 25-14.
Game two was much of the same, as Angelo State hit .333 and held the Bulldogs to a .069 hitting percentage. The 'Belles started the set on a 7-1 run and never looked back as ASU cruised to a 25-12 victory, taking a 2-0 lead into the locker room.
The third set was all ASU, as the 'Belles jumped out to a 6-0 advantage to start the set. Angelo State held Southwestern Oklahoma to a negative hitting percentage, just three kills and four points in the set, winning by a 25-4 margin. The last time the 'Belles held an opponent to just four points was in 2000 at Tarleton State when ASU took set two by a score of 15-4, before winning 3-0.
The Rambelles hit .526 as a team in the third set giving them a season-high .435 hitting percentage in the match.
Southwestern Oklahoma was led by Kalie Mader, who notched six kills, and libero Sladjana Simic who recorded eight digs. Setter Callie Martin registered 14 assists and one dig for the Bulldogs.
