COMMERCE – Brionna Minde recorded a hat trick and Texas A&M-Commerce added two additional goals in a 5-1 Lone Star Conference win over Angelo State on Friday at the A&M-Commerce Soccer Field.
Hanna Horeis scored her third goal in three games for the Rambelles, but the goal, 34 minutes into the match, could only bring the score to 3-1 at the time and didn't turn momentum. ASU (4-6-2, 3-3-2 LSC) fell to 1-4-1 in road games and trailed 4-1 at halftime. Angelo State and A&M-Commerce are now tied with identical conference records and 11 conference points. Abilene Christian (11-0-1, 7-0-1 LSC) leads the conference with 22 points, while Midwestern State (6-3-2, 4-3-1 LSC) finds itself in second in the standings through eight conference games.
