SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State volleyball team is back in the 11
th spot of the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll after picking up three wins last week in Lone Star Conference play.
The Belles (16-3, 9-1 LSC) were ranked No. 12 last week after spending the previous two weeks at No. 11. ASU has been ranked as high as No. 9 this season after beginning the season at No. 15.
Angelo State went 3-0 last week with a five-set win at Tarleton State last Tuesday before taking down Texas Woman's in four sets and sweeping Texas A&M-Commerce in the Junell Center last weekend. ASU does not have a midweek match this week and returns to action 4 p.m. on Friday at Midwestern State and at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Cameron.
ASU swept Midwestern State and Cameron in their previous meetings this season.

Nebraska-Kearney remains as the top-ranked team in the nation with an 18-0 record this season, while West Texas A&M (16-2) moves to No. 8 and continues to be the top-ranked LSC team in the AVCA poll.
