About Angelo State
ASU improved its overall record to 13-14 on Thursday with its win against Cameron. The Belles will be looking for its second consecutive victory for the first time since sweeping Abilene Christian this season during rivalry week on Jan 17 and Jan. 21.

Paige Weishuhn and Haylee Oliver each had 14 points for the Belles versus Cameron Thursday and are the team's top leading scorers at 12.7 and 11.3 points per game respectively. The duo has been the Belles top scorer for a combined 17 games this season.

Weishuhn continues to move closer to passing Terri Kvapil on the Belles all-time scoring list as the senior is now 20 points away from taking over 12th place. The Wall native has also scored in double-figures in five consecutive games.

In those five contests, the LSC second-team selection is averaging 18.4 PPG and grabbing 6.2 boards while hitting 55.0 percent of her shots.

Oliver continues her impressive rookie campaign as the league's Co-Freshman of the Year scored in double digits for the 17th time this season. The San Saba native had a key block on Cameron's Alexis Williams in the closing seconds of Thursday game, stopping the Aggies from tying the game on a three-pointer. The rejection was Oliver's 16th of the year, third on the team.

Oliver wasn't the only freshman to play well versus the Aggies. Cassi Stegall added 12 points and knocked down two threes for the Belles. The Hico native is second on the team in 3-point makes (26) and percentage (.366). Oliver and Stegall's effort of the pine lead to a 31-2 bench scoring advantage for the Belles against the Aggies.
