The Rams had two practices that were benefited by the cool weather and players were happy the second practice was just in shorts and a helmet.
The first practice was at San Angelo Stadium and it allowed the players to work on the turf. It was a practice focused on tempo and making the right reads. The second practice in shorts and a helmet was a relief for the players. Full speed was pushed as a reminder that a lot of work is still left to do.
Day 11 is in the books but preparation continues for the first game of the season on Saturday, September 1 at San Angelo Stadium against Western State. The Rams will take part in practice tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. at the LeGrande Sport Complex.
