No. 11 ASU at No. 5 West Texas A&M
The Belles haven't shied away from their desire to win this match all season. After Friday's match at ENMU, all attention shifts to the Lady Buffs in a contest at The Box. ASU has not won in Canyon since 1993 – 16 straight matches – and have not beat WT since a five-set match in 2004 in San Angelo. They Lady Buffs took both regular season matches last season against ASU in five-set thrillers before winning the conference tournament over the Belles.
The Lady Buffs opened the season with a loss to Adams State in WT's home tournament, but have since reeled off 13 straight wins including winning the Colorado Premiere Challenge. WT is second in the conference in hitting percentage behind ASU with a .242 percentage, while it tops the LSC by limiting opponents to a .095 mark. WT is first in blocks with 133 total (2.89 per set).
Halie Harton leads WT this season with 163 kills (3.54 per set) with Lacy Hayes just behind Woolsey in assists with 11.48 per set. Erin Dougherty leads the block with 64 while Laura Iwuchukwu has added 53. Laura Beville comes into the weekend with 232 digs.

QUOTES
Shelby Wilt // ASU sophomore libero
On playing at The Box against West Texas A&M:
They always have a big crowd in their gym. It's always hot because they don't have air conditioning. We're very lucky we have that here, so it is a very different environment than we have here. They also have a great team that plays there that is very good at controlling the ball.
On not overlooking Eastern New Mexico on Friday:
We can't get too excited about Saturday and forget to stay focused on Friday. Sometimes it can be easy to get ahead of yourself but we can't do that. We have to do our job at Eastern New Mexico.
Maddie Huth // ASU junior middle blocker
On playing at The Box against West Texas A&M:
It feels like the fans are right on top of you. They have great fans that create a hectic atmosphere. We have a lot of experience playing there and I really enjoy it. It's exciting and we play well in that kind of place.
On not overlooking Eastern New Mexico on Friday:
Coach has been calling these two matches (Texas A&M-Kingsville and Eastern New Mexico) trap matches. We can't look past anyone. We have to be focused in every match that we are playing in. Our team has a lot of confidence but we also know that we can be beat.
On how the No. 11 Belles are playing coming into the weekend:
Our ball control is really good right now off our ball-receive. Hopefully we can continue doing that.
Chuck Waddington // ASU head coach (101-48, fifth season)
On how the No. 11 Belles are playing coming into the weekend:
I think we are playing at a pretty good level right now. With volleyball, it can be one of those things that is day to day. We have to maintain our focus and understand what we are trying to do and work hard to do that.
On keeping the focus on Eastern New Mexico instead of hyping the West Texas A&M match:
It won't be big if we slip up on Friday. We have to keep that perspective. If we look past somebody, then we are foolish.
