"I really was proud of our comeback," Angelo State women's basketball coach Kevin Baker said after the game. "I thought we played really well in the second half and fought back. We talked at halftime about the fact they shoot so many threes and we knew we were going to be in it due to them taking so many perimeter shots. Â We knew we were going to be in it and the kids battled their hearts out. I was impressed with their resiliency tonight."
Taylor Dorsey led the Belles offensive attack with 25 points and eight rebounds. It is the junior's 11th game in double figures and her sixth game with at least 20 points. Jasmine Prophet added 16 points and Brea Mitchell contributed 12 points and five rebounds. Christina Robinson chipped in seven points including four points in the final 1:14 of the fourth quarter.

Mitchell scored eight of the team's 13 points during the run.
The Aggies answered to make the deficit to six with a layup but free throws by Diamalises Rivera and KeAnna Kelly cut it to 72-69 with less than two minutes to go. After a free throw by Cameron, Robinson pulled up for a jumper from the elbow to pull within two at 73-71. A missed Cameron shot gave the Belles a chance at the win.
