SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State athletic department held its annual Holland's Award banquet and handed out 13 Holland's Awards along with the Kathleen Brasfield and Phil George Athletes of the Year.

The Holland's Awards are voted on by teammates and the winners include Kathleen Keoughan (soccer), Richard Franklin (football), Matt Waller (baseball), Morgan Rogers (golf), Zach Cabrera (men's cross country), Kelsey Warren (women's cross country), Isaiah Martin (men's track & field), Amber Graham (women's track & field), Danae Bina (softball), Ben Adams (athletic training), Mallory Blauser (volleyball), Devote' Pratt (men's basketball) and Lexi Murphy (women's basketball).

The Athletic Academic Excellence Honor Roll is given annually to recognize the student-athletes at ASU who have meet the following criteria has a 3.25 GPA, junior or senior athletically, attended ASU for a minimum of two long semesters and exhausted one year of eligibility. The male recipient was Jacob Reid and the female recipient was Demi Tsambasis and Kami Norton.  

The Golden Horn award given to the team for work in the community and athletic success went to men's track & field.

The Kathleen Brasfield Female Athlete of the Year was Mallory Blauser from volleyball and the Phil George Male Athlete of the Year went to Luis Perez from men's track & field.
