SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State Athletic Department has announced a new partnership with Teamworks Influencer, the leading athlete brand-building and NIL business management app, to provide student-athletes with name, image and likeness opportunities.
 
Free to both student-athletes and businesses, the Angelo Exchange provides a portal for companies and athletes to communicate, negotiate agreements, and fulfill NIL transactions.
 
"We here in the athletic department at Angelo State are so excited about our partnership with Teamworks Influencer," said James Reid, Director of Athletics. NIL has become an integral part of the intercollegiate sports landscape, and we want to make sure our student-athletes have the best opportunity to capitalize on their Name, Image, and Likeness opportunities. Influencer will create an easy pathway for our local businesses and supporters to partner with our student-athletes to build upon the existing community relations between Angelo State and the San Angelo community.
 
After registering on the Angelo Exchange, a business can access a database of ASU student-athletes, searchable by various criteria, to message a student-athlete directly or request contact information. Influencer and Angelo State will not be involved in any NIL negotiations.
 
The Angelo Exchange will also serve as a registry for donors, alumni, and others interested in connecting with ASU student-athletes on NIL opportunities.
