SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State women's volleyball team defeated Cameron in three sets (25-14, 25-16, 25-15) for their twentieth win of the season Friday evening. The Belles are now 20-7 (13-4 Lone Star Conference).
The Belles dominated from the outset, hitting .226 and holding Cameron to a .035 hitting percentage for the match, as well as posting eight service aces to Cameron's none.
Audrey Fragniere led the Belles offensively with nine kills on a .368 hitting percentage. Bailey Drum also recorded nine, Sundara Chinn had seve, and Baleigh Allen and Sophia Berg had six.
Defensively, the Belles placed three in double digits in digs, led by Morgan Preston's 14. Sundara Chinn added 12 and libero Chloe Robinson had 11. At the net, Baleigh Allen and Sundara Chinn recorded three blocks each.
Setter Meghan Parker enjoyed another excellent evening with 29 assists and seven digs, along with a service ace and two kills.
The Belles will be in action again tomorrow as they will take on Midwestern State at noon.
